Subj:   Re: Does Teradata Support CLOB? Urgent !

From:   James Jeyaraj

I tried adding "MAXIMUM DATABLOCKSIZE", but the same error occurs. I added those keywords to the SQL statements generated by Ole Load......(below)

0003 CREATE set TABLE PTRRULE_BOM
     ,MAXIMUM DATABLOCKSIZE
     ( BOM_ID       VARCHAR(20) NOT NULL,
                                CONTENT      VARCHAR(64000),
                                CREATED_BY   VARCHAR(20),
                                CREATED_DATE TIMESTAMP(0) NOT NULL,
                                UPDATED_BY   VARCHAR(20),
                                UPDATED_DATE TIMESTAMP(0),
                                DESCRIPTION  VARCHAR(250) ) ;

**** 11:08:41 RDBMS error 3933: The Maximum Possible Row Length in the
              Table is too Large.

How is it possible Teradata doesnt support CLOB?
