Hello
I run my Bteq & Fastexport scripts through Kron shell scripts & I run most of my jobs as 'background jobs' as result sometimes I
need to kill these jobs & resubmit them, to do this I use the following command , KILL -9 this kills the jobs on Unix o/s but
leaves the session still active on the teradata database as result when I resubmit the job the locks that are present on tables through my
first job still exist & my current jobs keeps waiting for the locks to be released. Could someone give me work around for this
problem.
