Subj: | | Syscheck documentation question. |
|
From: | | Richard Perry |
After recently migrating to a V2R4 system, I am currently in the process of assessing some of the new utilities. I have recently come
across a utility called 'SYSCHECK', which is a utility to provide system wide performance figures. In the manual (Teradata utilities volume
2 Pg. 10-10) after the functional description their is a note that states 'Syscheck does not crash the RDBMS or the machine', I am a little
curious as to why this statement has been placed in the manual?
If anyone is aware as to why this statement exists, or has any experience of this utility I would appreciate some feedback.
Many thanks,
Richard Perry.
