Subj: | | Deleting rows in a transient journal |
|
From: | | Bhupesh Singu |
The size of the transient journal suddenly grew extremely large in the last week. I suspect it being generated by an abort request. The
administration guides say that the obsolete rows are periodically deleted.
I was wondering, If it is possible to manually delete the rows in a transient journal (is it safe?). If so, how? and, can it be done
using sql.
Also, Is there anyway to go back and find out, which user query or user caused this.
Thanks in advance.
