Hi All:

Wayne has done a good job of setting up the FastExport. Although, one slight change might make it better for this request. If I understand the original question correctly, it was desired to eliminate the 2 byte VLI in front of the output record.

If I am remembering correctly, by using FORMAT UNFORMATTED instead of TEXT or FASTLOAD in the .EXPORT statement, does this for you.
