Adam, The only option that I'm aware of is IF your Teradata system (not the client platform) is running Windows 2k then you can use Single Sign On. Apart from that the only thing that I can think is to use NT security (available on NTFS I think) to secure an external file which contains the passwords etc. Maybe if you're running the load jobs via a scheduler of some sort the userid and passwords can be 'hidden' in there and passed through at run-time?
