Subj:   Re: Queryman 5.2.0 and Teradata ODBC 3.0.0

From:   Chris Huffstutler

I'm glad to see this is happening to someone else. I have had this happen to me on three different computers. The first was an NT 4.0 machine running 2.08.02 ODBC. It originally had 2.08.01 and ran just fine. Then I upgraded the ODBC drivers and it all went to crap. Some exports worked just fine and others would just cause Queryman to hang and I would have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE to shut it down.

It then happened after I had my laptop (a different machine) reimaged to Windows 2000 with ODBC 2.08.02 and it started happening on that machine as well. The funny thing is I could do the exact same export on both machines and both would freeze on the same row of data.

I thought all would be solved with 3.00.01. I had a new machine delivered with Windows XP and installed 3.00.01 and queryman 6 on it. The exact same thing. It freezes on the exact same row as my 2.08.02 laptop.

I have a spare Windows 98 machine running 2.08.01 and it completes every export every time.

I'm currently trying to track down 2.08.01 and downgrade all my machines to it. It's been unfortunate that I haven't found anyone else suffering until I found this forum.

Thanks and I'll let you know what happens with my machine.
