Subj:   Queryman 5.2.0 and Teradata ODBC 3.0.0

From:   Tressler, Dara C.

I am hoping to get some help with a perplexing problem. I have a simple query which hangs.

The gist is that I select 2,474,820 rows into a volatile spool table (it works the same if I use derived table). I select these rows sorting on the unique primary key using the export feature.

After 1,821,790 rows, the query stops in the midst of the export and refuses to continue. (I watch the lines exporting and they just stop increasing)

Looking in PMON, I see that it is in an IDLE RESPONSE state. No SQL is active.

If I try to get information on the process it indicates that it is no longer active.

I know I have successfully exported much more than 2.4 million rows into a file in the previous version of ODBC or Queryman.

So, why not now??

Confused
