| Let me see if I have this right? My machine is kmdb with 2 nodes so I logon | |
| .logon kmdb/username,password | |
| Do I set up a system variable kmdb=2? | |
yep
| Do I put this in my .profile? | |
Any place, where you can set an environment variable (and don't forget to export it)
| In Mike McIntire's response, there was mention of the order of the cop entries. My Unix nodes are ont0mb and ont0mc. Would it
be best to have kmdbcop1 & kmdbcop2 right behind the IPs? | |
I don't know how Mike got that result. AFAIK, there's supposed to be no difference...
#KMDB ORLD - NCR 4855 TERADATA DATABASE M BOX (SYSTEM TEST)
135.71.136.26 ont0mb mcop1 kmdbcop1 kmcop1 KMDBCOP1 MCOP1
135.71.136.27 ont0mc mcop2 kmdbcop2 kmcop2 KMDBCOP2 MCOP2
And don't forget to set the values for m and km, to0 ;-))
