These are the steps that i follow:

1) Connect to the database using connection object

2) call the macro1; call macro2; call macro3;

3) close the connection

so, i do not think that my session breaks off in between.

I have tried issuing the macros in

a) three separate calls from VB

b) in a single call from VB
