Hi all,

I've spent some weeks improving performance of a new DW.

One unanswerd question remains:
In which cases - if any exsist - does 'Collect Statistics' on non-indexed columns effect performance - and why?

The examples I've tested showed no measureable effect. But there must be a reason for the possibility to collect statistics on non- indexed columns.

I would greatly appreciate any input on this matter, thanks in advance,
