Hello. We're using the MDS, with a front end that was created by Len Gavin of Bull Services, called the Bull Enterprise Metadata Services. This front end set of tools allows import of metadata to and from ERwin, and from Excel into ERwin and into the MDS. We use a modified DIM (an EDIM) with places to hold additional info that we need to store that's not in the original schema that Teradata puts out, and we output (using our tools again) to Microsoft Word files which we use to produce WinHelp and HTML pages with RoboHelp. It's been very useful, very powerful, and it's great to store all this "data about data" in a central place, and be able to get it in and out easily. Cool.
