Thanks Cheryl for your detailed mail. I wanted to check what is the difference between Collect Statistics and Refresh Statistics.

Collect Statistics is the initial time you collect stats, but is it that in Refresh Stats will you first drop Statistics and then Collect Statistics again.

Just trying to find what is the difference in the two processes and how the system treats them differently.
