Dave's right. BO has done an exceptionally POOR job of supporting Teradata unlike MSI and Cognos that do support derived, volatile and
global temp tables as well as a lot of the OLAP functions. BO is a great reporting tool, but somewhat limited in supporting a lot of the
newer (i.e. V2R2 and later) functionality. If you are a BO user/shop with Teradata, I would go to them and find out what their strategy is
for supporting more TD functionality.
BO does not support multi-pass SQL in a singe report, but you can define a 'document' that is made up of one or more 'reports' each
having a single SQL statement that is executed serially and the results can be referenced within the 'document' - thus giving the appearance
of multi-pass SQL, but it is not really.
