You could always save the excel data in a delimited format and then use one of the bulk data load utilities (i.e. FastLoad, MultiLoad, etc.) to put the data into a Teradata table (of course this means you have to create a suitable control script)... If load speed/time is really of prime concern, this will likely get you the shortest load time...
