Hi, Have people had experience with the optimiser choosing different access paths when using the inner join syntax rather than joining in the where clause? We have had experience when joining our transaction table to 2 smaller tables - when joining in the where clause the transaction table is accessed via a nested loop join using a NUSI - when joining using the inner join syntax the transaction table is redistributed and product joined . As a very small subset of the transaction table is to be joined the query performs much better going the nested loop join method. Regards, Martin O'Brien
