We have had some issues around using the CREATE TABLE AS, such that it will restart the Teradata if we try to use it. So we are staying
away from that option. It really does not apply anyway, we are updating different columns from different processes and don't want to stomp
on each other as much as possible. Plus we have the NCR CRM tool using "dirty reads" on the tables.
