Lee,

I saw the SQL you sent. Looks like fun! I was wondering if the SQL you sent was produced from a log out of BusinessObjects? If so, perhaps you might want to enable Access Logging in Teradata and capture this request in DBC.ACCESSLOG. I'm suggesting this because perhaps the SQL that Teradata is processing is different from what BO is putting in its log.

Another interesting test would be to run this query repeatedly via BTEQ. If this is a Teradata problem, you would expect that, eventually, you would see the same anomaly in BTEQ as through BO.
