I've been getting questions from users about their inability to consistently run queries in MSAccess against linked Teradata tables. The error they're receiving is "ODBC - call failed. (Error 3146)", for which the text is: "Using an ODBC connection, you tried to perform an operation on data in an ODBC data source. This error may occur when the ODBC data source is on a network drive and you aren't connected to the network. Make sure the network is available, and then try the operation again." Since this fails on some tables but succeeds on others with equivalent privileges, I don't think this is the problem. I can't consistently reproduce the problem, and it's happening with more than one version of the ODBC driver. I'm up a tree--any thoughts on this one? Thanks, John A
