Ruth,
I wouldn't have thought you needed to re-collect stats just because you've restored the table to a different configuration. The stats
describe the data (number of rows, number of nulls, median values etc etc) and that information doesn't change even if the data has been
restored to a different configuration. As far as I'm aware, there is nothing in the statistics information which describes the
configuration of the system. Information about the number of amps etc is added in to the equation by the optimiser at run time.
