Subj: | | Execute Parallel |

We use a third party multi-dimensional reporting tool on top of our Teradata Relational database. Unfortunately, this tool can only
process (pass to Teradata and wait for a reponse) one SQL statement at a time. Therefore, if a user generates a report which creates 15 SQL
statements, the user must wait as long as it takes to execute these 15 statements sequentially.
I am interested in the idea of sending multiple SQL statements to Teradata via the front-end tool (assuming we can somehow disguise these
multiple SQL statements to look like a single SQL statement to the front-end tool.)If we could do this, is it possible to execute these
multiple SQL statements in parallel via a direct ODBC connection between the front-end tool and Teradata? I know that I can currently do
this using the 'Execute Parallel' option in Queryman and using the ';' trick in BTEQ; however, I don't know what the syntax would need to
look like via a direct ODBC connection.
Thanks,
