Funny - I have the same problem with Microsoft! They won't clean up my file system on any of my laptops or PC's either - THEY leave that
up to me as well! They also don't provide a list of files that I should NOT delete but somehow I manage to not shoot myself in the foot and
leave the files under the directories that hold my operating system/applications alone.
Whilst I agree that we (i.e. NCR) would benefit and help you by providing a list of directories/files that are critical to UNIX that you
SHOULD NOT DELETE, I'm not sure you would want NCR to be responsible for the data you hold/maintain on your JBOD drives. Maybe I'm not
really understanding your 'issue'. Perhaps you could clarify this for us!
