Being able to access the database via ODBC is certainly a good sign. When you say that you can't access the database via BTEQ or Fastload, it isn't clear whether you're talking about Unix, a PC or MVS. Just to make things simple, let's limit ourselves to BTEQ only. Did all your nodes come up? You can use vprocmanager to check your configuration. The vprocmanager is described in the Teradata Utilities Manual (B035-1102-060A) - Vol 2, Chapter 19. Do you get a specific error when you try to use BTEQ? What is it? No matter where you try to run BTEQ, do you get the same error? If from Unix, are you talking about a TPA or non-TPA node? Can you try another node? If from MVS (and assuming that all of your nodes are up), you might need to take the TDP down and back up again.
