John, Thank you for your response. I failed to mention that the box is set up on win2k on a DHCP network. This box was setup in a test enviroment and once the power went down it was left unprotected (ie. no UPS). The box was offline for over an hour. Once the power was restored, the win2k box requested a new ip address from the DHCP server. It obtained a different ip, hence the hosts file needed to be changed to reflect the new ip. Once that was done and the system cycled, everything connected and came back perfectly. Thank you all for your help! Randall Johnson
