Hi Forum,

I have a Question on what is the purpose of Accountstrings once we are in SLES 11.

As in SLES 11 priority scheduler, we don't have performance groups, Allocation groups etc? how the account strings will be used.

In our TASM, we are classifying users based on profiles and not using accountstrings.

I know that accountstrings can be used for charging back model. Not sure apart from it. Is it for grouping users in different granularity apart from Profiles?

Kindly share your views on how and for what purpose account strings are used in your environments.
