Subj:   Re: Clean up JobIDs for which backups do not exist

From:   Bergman, Ysbrand

Hi,

Assuming you are talking about a TARA with NetBackup environment:

- Go to the restore object selection in the TARA GUI

- Right click on a job name (that holds the datasets)

- Select Synchronize

The Process will now query NetBackup for each of the datastreams and verify if that each datastream still available. If the datastreams corresponding to a job are no longer available, it will delete the corresponding jir file.

Warning:
Make sure that you have a filesystem backup of the JIR repository, just in case that something goes wrong.

Regards
