Thank you all for taking the time to respond. Sincerely appreciate your time. I was able to do the restore successfully using BUILD and giving FILEDEF as a run time parameter.

Few more questions I have

1) When we use multi stream, we should get the log files for each stream. However I see the log file (*.out) only for one stream (stream 1). How can I make sure I get the log files for every stream?

2) If I have a database with 100 tables and I run the backup with 4 streams, then would each stream have 25 tables copied or would 25% records of each table get copied in all the streams ?

3) How do I enable the catalog in restore/copy in arcmain?
