Thanks Ruth for your valuable feedback. It is just my concern that DEV using all the resources. We don't maintain good stats on DEV/Quality Environment and moreover testers run un- tuned queries & Scripts. As a result, these queries sometimes run for very long duration using more than 90% of resources, showing system in RED. The same scripts or queries with proper stats and tuning takes less resources and very less amount of time. So I just wanted to avoid these cases to limit them to use certain max CPU(not to cross 90%) to avoid system showing in RED. ? It would be nice if you can clarify one more thing. If a low priority workload query is running using all the resources and if some high priority work comes up, will it be pushed down immediately or if it will apply only to the next query of the workload. Thanks & Regards, Sridhar K
