Hi Dave, Thanks for the reply. 1). Yes the plan provided (in my previous email) is bad query plan. 2). TASM is not enabled (no workload management in place). 3). There is No using clause used for passing the values, as it's a run time front end app, they hit some buttons and it generates the query at the back end. 4). There is a variation in the explain plan of the front end app and the plan of SQLA as in SQLA we are passing some values/null values, whereas in frontend app, the optimizer is generating a generic plan as it has not sure about the values.
