When I manually execute a file with below script a letter 'y' keeps appearing on the screen. I wonder it's normal. I know packdisk utility runs quite a while.

I had to quit running the script by ctrl + C.

     cat /var/opt/Teradata/bteqdba/packdisk-scandisk
     output over /var/opt/Teradata/bteqdba/TAREAS_DBA.log
     enable scriptmode
     scope vproc all
     showspace
     packdisk fsp=10
     y
     showspace
     scandisk
     yes
     quit
