To be able to answer your question would need more details about the hardware involved and available for your backup.
Your best option is to discuss this with your local Teradata BAR consultant, as they would have the full picture!
Things that might affect your jobs!
Teradata BAR solution including Media servers and tape library How many nodes on system How many tape drives available / in use How many
network connections between each node and the BAR network switch How many BAR servers Maybe a few more also!
