Hi Forum,

Though I found several posts in different forums about this error, none had a solution.

We get the below error intermittently when the Informatica server is trying to connect to the Teradata database. When we try the connection again, it works. This is certainly a network glitch, however is there any parameter that we can tweak on the ODBC DSN to avoid this error?

     WRT_8001 Error connecting to database...
     WRT_8001 [Session s_m_STG_O_Rate_Header_ins Username yyc302tdatetnl DB Error -1
     [Teradata][ODBC Teradata Driver] Login timeout expired[Teradata]
     [ODBC Teradata Driver] Not enough information to log on
     Database driver error... Function Name : Connect
     Database driver error...  Function Name : Connect
     Database Error: Failed to connect to data base using user [yyc302tdatetnl]
     and connection string [C302_PRD_TD].]
