Hello Forum,

Looking for some description/purpose on system users.

As per my knowledge, I have updated the purpose of few users, please correct if wrong.

     System Users    Purpose

     DBC             Super User

     CRASHDUMPS      Will be useful when abrupt restarts occur in the system

     DEFAULT         ?

     PUBLIC          Teradata grants SELECT privileges on system tables to
                     PUBLIC by default.?? And by assigning this PUBLIC to end
                     users they get access on system tables.

     SYSADMIN        ?

     SYSDBA          User for DBA activities

     SYSTEMFE        Field Engineers

     SYS_CALENDAR    ?

     TDPUSER         User used for client connections

     TDWM            Work Load management User

     PDCRACCESS      ?

     PDCRADMIN       Which is used to create objects in PDCR databases and
                     run macros

     PDCRCANARY0M    ?

     PDCRCANARY1M    ?

     PDCRCANARY2M    ?

     PDCRCANARY3M    ?

     PDCRCANARY4M    ?

     PDCRTPCD        ?
