Thanks all for your responses. But I would like to say that there is no duplicates on the Joining columns in both the tables. Is that soft referential integrity causing this record count mismatch? Because I could observe the table DDL has some REFERENCES Table A DDL CREATE MULTISET TABLE DB.TBL1,FALLBACK , . . FOREIGN KEY (KEY_1, KEY_2) REFERENCES WITH NO CHECK OPTION DB.TBL2 (KEY_1, KEY_2 )) AND Table B DDL as CREATE MULTISET TABLE DB.TBL2,FALLBACK , . . FOREIGN KEY (KEY_1, KEY_2) REFERENCES WITH NO CHECK OPTION DB.TBL1 (KEY_1, KEY_2 )) Please assist!! Thanks John
