Hi,

You need the word TIMESTAMP in front of the literal, as in

     create table edw2.t1
     (record_end_dtm TIMESTAMP(6) FORMAT 'YYYY-MM-DDBHH:MI:SS.S(6)'
     NOT NULL DEFAULT  TIMESTAMP '2011-12-31 11:59:00.000000' )
