I am hoping somebody can give me some insight into why we seem to have what I think are extremely slow Fastloads coming through our DataStage server. We are currently migrating data from DB2 to Teradata and running 3-5 table loads in parallel, with between 1.5 and 3.7 billion rows. 2 tables are over 3,5 billion rows and look like they will take over 45 hours to run, based on progress after 24 hours. I have asked the team to supply the scripts so that we can try and see if there is any tuning we ca do, but they advise they don't have any scripts as they just and drag and drop the tables in a GUI. There is virtually no skew in the tables and we have TASM enabled which sets 36 sessions for every Fastload job.
