Hi Experts,

I am getting 3916 errorcode when I am trying to grant update access for a column on some view.

Suppose:

View name : View
Column : col1
User : xyz

     GRANT UPDATE (col1) ON View TO xyz;

Although I have given update access to the user on other columns of this view, but for this specific column I am not able to give access as it is throwing 3916 errorcode. I am really in trouble cause of this. Somebody please help me to resolve this.
