Thanks Dave, I am able to run the viewpoint after increasing my ram.

However, please note that I am not able to view the active sessions, database space etc on the view point. It says that the system state as down. I am able to run the bteq's through linux terminal window and can logon to Teradata administrator as well. Can you kindly advise on the possible resolution to this.
