Hi,

I have a scenario in which I want to limit the rank or rownumber for a particular partition below 32000.

Currently I?m using a case statement to truncate the values at 32000 for the ranked combination which is a temporary solution.

I want to limit the resultset while generating rank to 32000 or lower. is it possible, if yes how ?

Also, I want the next rank for the same partition to start from 2 instead of 32001 ( dense rank in oracle)

Please help.
