What is the real issue? Why do you think you want to bypass TJ? Overhead for TJ is much less these days than it was prior to introduction of WAL in V2R6.2.

TJ is not used for temporary tables (VOLATILE or instance of GLOBAL TEMP) created with NO LOG. And some utilities (e.g. MultiLoad) don't use normal SQL protocol and so bypass TJ - but they impose other significant restrictions.
