As Dave noted you will want to get the IP address assigned to the VM using ifconfig so that you can setup port forwarding between your Host OS and the VM (via VM Player). A quick search of the net for "VMPlayer port forwarding" should get you going but basically you are setting up VMPlayer to forward the normal TD 1025 port through to the ip address/port number of your Virtual TD instance.
