Thanks for the detailed note!

I would just like to confirm once again, that,

If my table(tables) has stats defined on almost on all the columns (say, 80-90% columns, both single column & multi column stats), I mean, on necessary columns and also may be on unwanted columns(am not sure), will this affects the performance of my query(queries)?

We are ignoring the cost to collect stats (system resources) in this case.
