Hi Sravan, As you define a new stats, always keep in mind that "NO STATS BETTER THAN BAD STATS". If you are defining bad stats, instead of giving better performance, it may confuse the PE to take a wrong plan to execute the query. So performance will get degraded. Resource utilization is also another problem. Statistics wizard you can use to get the info like how effective is stats you had already defined on a table. Thanks, Sughesh.
