Subj:   Users access not getting revoked!

From:   Mushtak Mirajkar

Hi there,

There are Users (non TD System) who were created using User : DBC log in. These non TD System Users were given "Grant ALL on ALL" access. However, now we would like to revoke this "ALL" access and provide Role based as needed access to each of them based on their role and business needs.

We tried Revoke by log in as User : DBC;? the command goes through without any error. However, these non TD System Users when log in are still able to access all the Databases.

1. Can some one please let me know why DBC cannot revoke this "ALL" access?

2. How to revoke this "ALL" without dropping these non TD System Users?

3. We do not want these non TD System Users' work to get affected by dropping.

Thanks for your time and suggestion!

Mushtak Mirajkar.
