We run a weekly report at a database level that reports currentPerm, maxPerm, and peakPerm. When a DB shows up with a peakPerm value for an amp that is approaching maxPerm size, action is taken: 1) Investigate PIs and skewing on the largest tables 2) If no skew issues, allocate extra space For those with a compelling need to know, this could be done at the table level.
