It depends what the DBCMANAGER sessions are doing. Try to find out what application those sessions are being used for. Use the LOGONSOURCE
column in DBC.LOGONOFF to find out where the sessions are logging on from (the ip address) and the program being used. If those are being used for
Teradata Manager data collectors/alerts then your only option may be to reduce the frequency of the collectors etc. I'm not aware of any option in
Td Mgr which controls the concurrency of the collectors.
But first, find out which application is generating thos sessions.
