Hi Wang,
As many of the gurus have replied, it's not possible to compress timestamp for any value other than NULL.
But if you are having both a start and end timestamp, then you can use PERIOD datatype (from Teradata 13.0 onwards). This will help to reduce
the space usage. For details, please have a look here.
