Unfortunately true - but a database engine issue not a Viewpoint issue.

Teradata Manager/PMON were more affected by this than Viewpoint since Viewpoint at least has past collections to show what led up to the current state. It is ongoing/continuing work to make it so that these requests can make it through when the system is deeply buried.
