Current plans are not for it to replace SQL Assistant. It provides an alternative for those who use non-Windows platforms and for developers
who want the Load/Unload tools or more detailed 'object' information.
Since Teradata Administrator is still written in VB we do need to find a replacement for that one and the 'studio' product may be one
option.
I'm not aware of plans to integrate Visual Explain ... but I'm not part of the group that develops 'Studio'.
