Hi Folks,

How does the number of sessions specified during TD FastExport affect performance of the export job ? For a single select statement in the FExp script, does each of the sessions work parallely to output data to a single file even if the source table is not partitioned ? And also, does increasing the number of sessions speed up the export job ?

Please help me dissect the dynamics of using multiple sessions in FastExport and the effect on the speed/performance of the export operation ?
